Pregnancy & Labor Tools
For thousands of years midwives of old and chinese herbalists have used herbs with very good results. Most of our modern medicines have come from herbs. A safe, commonly used herbal tonic for pregnancy is red raspberry leaf tea.

Brewed as a tea or as an infusion, red raspberry leaf is one of the safest and commonly used tonic herbs for women wanting to get pregnant or for women who are already pregnant. Red Raspberry Leaf tones the uterus, improves contractions and decreases constipation.

Red Raspberry leaf does not start labor or promote contractions. It is NOT an emmenagogue or oxytocic herb. It helps strengthen the pelvic and uterine muscles so that once labor does start the muscles will be more efficient.

You can harvest your own red raspberry leaves or can purchase them dried in bulk or in tea bags from your local health food store or organic grocery.

Tea recipe for pregnancy
To make a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water over 2 teaspoons of herb (or one tea bag) and steep for ten minutes. Strain. During the final trimester, drink 2-3 cups per day..

Tea recipe for labor
Make the above recipe X6.  Add raw honey while hot.  Cool in the refridgerator for iced tea or freeze in ice-cube trays for nourishing ice chips.
Arnica Cream & Lavender
Arnica cream is made from the Arnica Montana plant which has been used for centuries.

This wonderful plant is yet another example of mother natures ability to provide us with invaluable natural resources to aid in the relief of common pains and aches.

Essential Oil of Lavender is one of the safest and most widely used oils in aromatherapy. Lavender works to calm a variety of nervous disorders including excitability, nervous tension, and panic. It emanates a mellow peacefulness and induces sleep.

Arnica cream and Lavender (essential oil) can be purchased at Whole Foods. You can also order the Faerie Made Arnica Rub online which combines the two.
